Theo first rode a bike at the age of give. Before riding speedway he was riding longtrack which he still does alongside speedway. He made his British speedway debut in 2002 with Edinburgh staying with them until 2007 winning a Premier League title with them. In 2004 he win the European Grasstrack Championship at Eenrum. In 2007 he joined Wolverhampton but lost his place and returned to Edinburgh for a short spell before joining Berwick. He lost his team place there but later in the year won the European Grasstrack Championship for a second time. In 2008 he joined Swindon, lost his place in June.
He returned to British speedway in 2011 with Glasgow staying with them for the following two years winning the league with them. In 2013 he was part of the Edinburgh Fours winning team and then joined Redcar for 2018 until they dispensed with his services allowing the Bandits to step in.
