Bandits look for redemption v Bears tonight at 7

Another fiery performance from the Berwick "KLS" Bandits (Powered by Mike Hope of Wooler) at the Redcar Bears on Thursday night saw the Border Brigade go down by 10 points, but not after a match filled with solid racing from the Bandits who are looking for swift redemption over the Bears at 7.00pm tonight, when a decent win is the least of their goals,

It's another big night for a few riders, now in the opposing team colours with Theo Pijper keen to impress again against the team who dropped him less that two weeks ago and grab some big points for the Bandits while Dimitri Berge for Redcar will see the chance to prove the decision of the Bandits to let him go last season - in his eyes- incorrect which should lead to some excellent heats of action.

Naturally the Bears boast the services of one of the all-time most popular Bandits in Thomas Jorgensen who will eternally receive the warmest of welcomes to Tweedside, with the hope his scoring won't be as prolific as many of his matches in the Black and Gold were just a couple of seasons ago.

One question mark remains late on Friday night for Saturday's event, that of Jye Etheridge's fitness after a heavy fall on Teesside two days ago, with alternatives on the edge ready to bring in if required.

Bandits' boss Scott Courtney is looking forward to another great Shielfield Park night, saying: "We deserved to get something out of Thursday night and only just missed the points, so, to a man, the guys are out for glory from the start tonight especially as we're now sharing the league's top spot with Lakeside, Peterborough and Glasgow now, and we prefer to have a single room at the top of the league table, which three points tonight would certainly book for us, for tonight at least. We like the top of the table, we don't wasn't to slip down and will do everything we can to remain up there,"
